I've got C-news (122291 patchdate) running with tin1.1pl4 under Linux
here and have noticed that things post just fine if I'm root, but articles
wind up in dead.article in my home directory if I post as a normal user.
the strange thing is that the 'log' shows something being posted, yet
the 'history' file (and out.going/systemname/togo) do not show anything
at all.
Is there an obvious program that needs some suid bit set or something?
I did run the installation procedure exactly as far as I know.
