Can some kind soul please tell me where I can find statistics
about Usenet.

I am thinking of numbers like:

How many Usenet sites are there? (I saw an estimate of 60,000)

How many readers (people) are there?

I seem to remember at one time seeing regular statistics
about which newsgroups were read the most but I have looked and I can't
find these numbers.

If anyone has such numbers or knows which newsgroup contains such
information, or knows where I can ftp to to get such data,
can they pelase let me know.

Please respond via mail.

Thanks, Harley Hahn
