In article <1992Aug18.120543.298@ira.uka.de> danisch@ira.uka.de (Hadmut Danisch ) writes: Hi, what about this modification of News: In most newsgroups there are discussions over special subjects, e.g. abortion, smoking, or something like "How to take pictures of little blue flowers" in rec.photo. These discussions normally die after some days/weeks and not everybody is interested in reading these discussions. In these cases we could add an additional line to the message, something like Subgroup: flowers Reasonably chosen Subject: headers combined with threading newsreaders provide this utility now (not the same implementation, of course). -- J Lee Jaap <jaapjl@tab00.larc.nasa.gov> +1 804/864-2148 employed by, not speaking for, AS&M Inc, at NASA LaRC, Hampton VA 23681
