Has anyone else experienced a problem with Cnews constantly
corrupting the active file? It's usually inserting a tilde
character somewhere in a random manner.. I've just started
to look into the problem, so little detail is provided here.
My active file contains about 4400 newsgroups..

Thanks for any useful suggestions..

Len
