Several revisions ago, if I made a mistake using nn I was able to hit ^C (Control-C), my "intr" character, and it would abort the operation (shell command spawn, followup (before getting to vi), or whatever. That has not worked for quite some time for me and I make enough mistakes to miss it. Does anyone know what setting I might have changed either in the code or in my init file, to mess things up for myself like this? Or if this was an intentional change in the code, could someone point out where, so I can change it back? Thanks! -- Irving_Wolfe@Happy-Man.com Happy Man Corp. 206/463-9399 x101 4410 SW Pt. I'm not sure what you were running, but for me, Ctrl-G will abort just about anything while still in NN. If you go to the editor it won't work, of course, but if NN is asking a question and you just want to back out entirely, Ctrl-G will do it. -- #ifdef TRUE | Fuzzy Fox (a.k.a. You can abort (almost) all command sequences within nn with '^g' (= control-g). Other programs used in conjunction with nn (editor or shell) might use other controls to be stopped/killed. Maybe ^c worked for you by chance. Please bear in mind that all programs might or might not react to what you do. It's all in the hands of the programmers.
