select earlier articles in reading mode?

Now and then I find an interesting response to an article and want
to go back to the original posting. The 'b' command will do this
(eventually) if the article was on the selection menu; but not if
I read (or didn't read) the article some time last week.

Suggestions, anyone?

Thanks,

Giles

When you are reading the response, type "G<RET><RET><RET>"... This
will bring you up a level to a menu which shows all articles of the
same subject...

Which I use all the time and is absolutely wonderful, but do keep in
mind that if the article has expired, this still won't bring it up.
Nothing you can do about that, just don't be surprised if the original
article doesn't show up, but a number of responses to it do.

Fortunately for me the expire problem isn't serious. Three (human)
newsreaders, no downstream sites and lots of disk ... :-)

Also offered by Thomas Aaron Insel <tinsel@uiuc.edu>

	map show B (
		goto-group " " "s"
		'*' 'Z'
		)

... which doesn't bring up a new menu but drops you straight into
the articles.

Thanks to all,

Giles
