nn code to "decode" multi-part sources

I'm hoping somebody out there familiar with the source code can
help me. I'm making a utility to extract the news articles out
of a newsgroup and use them to create a previously split uuencoded
posting. I've gotten to the point where I can put all of the
articles back together into files.
What I need now is a utility to remove the junk in-between uuencoded
chunks of the file. I have written an awk script to do this, but it
is really ugly!! nn seems to do this quite nicely.
I would do this myself, but I lost my copy of the source to nn, and
really would like to avoid downloading the whole package, if I could.
Even a pointer to which C source file could save me tons of time.
thanx in advance
brian

You'll likely want to strip the headers and tails off each article before cat'ing them together. You may want to grab the source for uucat, which does exactly this, and take a look at it. You can find the uucat source at grind.isca.uiowa.edu in the unix/utils area. -- ***************************************************************************** * Michael Pins | Internet: amigapd@isca.uiowa.edu * * ISCA's Amiga Librarian | #include <std.disclaimer> * *****************************************************************************
