The "networking" facilities of the version of the notesfile system we are running essentially consist in sending/receiving notes to/from other hosts in a batch mode. This does not only mean duplication of data, but also difficulties for managing the notesfiles in that there are no facilities for propagating the deletion of notes, etc. Is there an enhancement of the system allowing one to only have *one* copy of the notesfiles in a LAN of *heterogeneous* machines talking tcp-ip? (I am thinking about something in the spirit of NNTP). Michel Lacroix
