   I have ported notes to VMS in my spare time over the last year.  It is 
about 95% done.  The version I have up and running networks three VMS
system by using copy over VMS and TCP (from a unix system).  I haven't
reported all of the programs that come with notes (like from and to news),
but, it seems to do a good job.  If you are interested in the VMS version
(you need to have the VMS C compiler and version of VMS 4.4 or greater,
send me mail and we can talk about it.  Also, does anyone know what
the status of notes is, is it PD or what?
