Hi there, I liked to use the feature described in the tin manual, to make a file /usr/lib/news/subscriptions. This makes aa automaticall subscription of some newsgroups to new users of tin. But how is the format in that file? We use NNTP, but I didn't find any NNTP LIST SUBSCRIPTIONS patch. Who to shoe the human newsreaders using tin, that there is one or more new newsgroups? Thanks in advance -- Roman Schwartz email: schwartz@ppgfr.uucp Ein lustiger Spruch! ...[kratzkratz].. wo nehme ich einen lustigen Spruch her?

The format is simple. One newsgroup name per line. i.e., ours looks like this: news.newusers.questions news.announce.newusers news.answers news.announce.important news.groups news.lists news.misc comp.unix.ultrix -- -------------- Kent C.
