For my sins, I've been put in charge of implementing a LAN-based e-mail
system for NASA's Space Shuttle Program.  We're currently evaluating
cc:Mail as one of our design alternatives.  One of our requirements
(which might or might not be met in this first release) is to be able
to access Usenet news.  Another requirement is to provide bulletin
board functions for my users.

Has anybody ever used Lotus' Import/Export functions to integrate
cc:Mail bulletin boards with NNTP-based news?  Lotus says it's
possible, but I would have to "strip off those Internet headers
or change them into cc:Mail headers."  Their tech support folks
didn't know if anybody had ever worked out the I/R scripts to do
this.  If anybody has tried this, I'd like to know about it, even
if (ESPECIALLY if) you've tried and failed.

If I succeed, I'll publish the configuration files in Usenet.
