No, I do not beleive kids should be forced to wear uniforms, but now I think
there is a need for it!

In the past couple of years one problem has really been disgusting to me, is
the way our youth cares about their personal appearances.

One Example is the BIG Goose Coats.  These coats are horrific and makes
black youth look like thugs.  It is not the point of people waering these
coats, but if you look down the street you would think that 90% of black
youths wear these coats.  They are remarkebly warm, but I have put my goose
coat in the back of the closet due to the stereotype I receive when riding
on the bus, and going to work each morning.

When I bought my leather jacket, now people flock to sit next to me, when I
had my goose I got dirty looks and an empty seat.

The point i'm trying to make is that 99.9% of people will judge you on your
physical appearance before they get to know you.  Like with our youth's
dress standard of baggy jeans, tommy hill shirts, gold chains, and puffy
goose (damn) ugly jackets, people tend to think they are from gangs, but a
majority are very nice people when you meet them alone.

In order to solve this sterotype that you and I have about our young
people's choice in fashion, I think uniforms are a must.  But hey, who is
going to stop kids from wearing uniforms whose pant size is 2X larger than
their waste size.
