Wow, I sure am glad we got that out in the open. I thought it was long hair that made druggies (at least that's what they told me when I had long hair). I immediatly cut my hair when I was told that because I didn't want to do drugs just because I had long hair. : It's not just the clothing, there is an attitude that goes along with : it. If I am to believe that "that" style of clothing is the "gangsta" : look, why should I not believe that along with the look comes the : attitude? I am sure that there is a significant percentage of H.S. : students dressing like that who have done nothing wrong. But that other : percentage (and we have no way of knowing how big this % is) is out : there doing their gang thing in a loud and violent way. You'll get a kick out of this, but the really successful drug dealers and gangland members don't dress that way. They have suits and ties and hire nice big expensive lawyers. They have offices in midtown manhatten, and downtown LA. I suggest you get your head out of the TV crap and start dealing with the reality that the real bad boys have college degrees... : spelling). When parents so miserably fail to install/instill/inject : morals into their children, society has no other choice than to try to : pick up the slack. Bullcrap. Society has no right to establish rules that get in the way of the freedoms that most of use deserve. Punnish the innocent? I don't agree. Hold parents responsible. Throw their kids out when they deserve to be thrown out. School is not a playground or a babysitter for parents.
