The Devil Always Win
                   Richard M. Ruiz

Early today I was standing in front of church,
observing people coming out of a Good Friday's Mass.
The Roman catholic clergyman walked ahead of the multitude
and stood by the door shaking people's hands as they passed
by him.

Suddenly out of the blue sky, a man that seemed to
be drinking, but not fully drunk, approached the priest
and said to him:

"Why don't you stop kidding people. You know
quite well God does not exist. He only exist in the
minds of those that believe in Him, and only because
they've been brainwashed."

The clergyman looked at him, and said:

"Go ahead, confused soul. Get it all out of your system
and then allow me a few words."

"Good," said the man. You're the first religious person
willing to listen to what you people call " a sinner." Although
a sinner I do not consider myself. If I were to entertained that
thought, I would have to believe in the existence of a God.
Because grammatically speaking, my good man, the opposite
of GOOD is BAD. You cannot change that. The way I see
it, if that God you talk so much about were a real thing, then
I have to conclude that the Devil, as the opposite of Him, always
win. You'll see that comes November, George W. Bush will be
re-elected. And why? Because we are that God you talk so
much about, and we are also that Devil you want people to fear.
We are the builders of Good things and the builders of Bad things.
Not Him that no one sees of feel. There is no ne else to fear, but
ourselves"

Needless to say, the clergyman never had a chance to contradict the
man. The man was brutally pushed out of the area by the congregation.
