I'm a Blues-loving 20-somethinger looking to open up a REAL coffee house in the New Brunswick, NJ area (20,000+ college campus area). Projected start-up costs are $35,000 (well actually, $33,795, but I rounded up). I'm looking for possible investors - anyone interested in helping open up a real nice Coffee Slurping establishment. Looking for either active partners or silent investors. I'm looking at a possible opening date of September 1st of NEXT YEAR (that's September 1st, 1997). Anyone at all interested - please, drop me a line. I am not necessarily looking for a single individual to throw $35k in my pocket. I AM looking for any individuals who would either be interested in investing some capital cash (whether it be $10,000 or $1,000 or $500) and even people who would be willing to invest some of their blood, sweat and tears into the opening of a Coffee place. If this sounds like something you'ld be interested in ... drop me a line.

It has since been replaced by "Cafe 52", which is quite nice. If you are referring to the "Downstairs Cafe" that used to be in the Rutgers Student Center, that place was replaced by a strip of fast food joints, and hasn't been the same since. A real shame too, since the current stores make the place look like a food court in a shopping mall. Hardly a "cafe atmosphere". -- George Armhold Internet: armhold@cs.rutgers.edu Systems Programmer Bitnet: armhold@PISCES.BITNET HPCD Project, Rutgers University http://www.cs.rutgers.edu/~armhold

Well, it looks like you're smarter than the folks who started the Wings of Westwood chain *at the start of the summer vacation* with *absolutely no student advertising*...But, tell me: How the heck do you expect to compete with Cafe Newz or the Downstairs Cafe?

Next, you'll tell me that a 'Cluck-U-and-Tillet' meal plan is mandatory. Argh! *sob* Don Macron, RC '92
