Partitie-problemen
#186

	hda1: linux root-systeem (100MB) primary
	hda2: windows98 (1500MB)	 primary
	hda5: linux /usr (1000MB)	logical
	hda6: linux /home (500Mb)	logical
	hda7: linux /ftp (3000MB)	logical

De output van fdisk:

Disk /dev/hda: 32 heads, 63 sectors, 480 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2016 * 512 bytes

   Device Boot Begin Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1   *        1        1      102   102501   83  Linux native
Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings:
     phys=(216, 14, 63) logical=(101, 22, 63)
Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary:
     phys=(216, 14, 63) should be (216, 31, 63)
/dev/hda2   *      218      102     1626  1536097+   b  Unknown
Partition 2 has different physical/logical beginnings (non-Linux?):
     phys=(217, 0, 1) logical=(101, 23, 1)
Partition 2 has different physical/logical endings:
     phys=(1023, 14, 63) logical=(1625, 19, 63)
Partition 2 does not end on cylinder boundary:
     phys=(1023, 14, 63) should be (1023, 31, 63)
/dev/hda3         1024     1626     6248  4658850    5  Extended
Partition 3 has different physical/logical beginnings (non-Linux?):
     phys=(1023, 14, 63) logical=(1625, 20, 1)
Partition 3 has different physical/logical endings:
     phys=(1023, 14, 63) logical=(6247, 15, 63)
Partition 3 does not end on cylinder boundary:
     phys=(1023, 14, 63) should be (1023, 31, 63)
/dev/hda5         1024     1626     2642  1023876   83  Linux native
/dev/hda6         2048     2642     3150   512158+  83  Linux native
/dev/hda7         3072     3150     6248  3122721   83  Linux native

hda: QUANTUM FIREBALL SE6.4A, 6149MB w/80kB Cache, CHS=784/255/63, DMA

Howto's over Big disks in Linux
zullen deze info ook wel bevatten).
