yep, die zit hier :

stdin is een #define voor (&_iob[0]), dus er staat in
feite bool (&_iob[0]), en ineens wordt dat een array
(van nul elementen) bestaande uit references naar
bools -- mag niet.

Beter geen namen uit de standaard library recycleren :)
