Beschadigde .img: te herstellen?

Ik zit met een netelig probleem: af en toe krijg ik beschadigde .img files 
binnen, ShrinkWrap formaat. ShrinkWrap weigert ze te mounten, wat ik ook 
probeer, omdat ze zogezegd "corrupt" zijn. Kan ik alsnog een reparatietool 
inroepen om die beschadigde bestanden te herstellen?
