bezochte) Website bevatte nogal wat kritische informatie over
Scientology / Dianetics.

Dat mag dus niet meer van z'n provider - ook dit bedrijf is
bestookt met juridische troep van Scn advocaten.

En gezwicht. Net zoals Xs4all vwb mijn site.

Vrijheid van Meningsuiting is een mooi iets maar 't heeft z'n
grenzen - beginnende daar waar het _heel misschien_ centjes
gaat kosten. Denk ik dan.

 OPERATION CLAMBAKE CLOSED BECAUSE OF FALSE CLAIMS!!!

Well, it happened again. My ISP closed the following pages
on my page yesterday evening:

4.  http://home.sol.no/~spirous/CoS/

This resulted in the main Operation Clambake literally
being unavailable. Luckily I got mirrors, but damn
if I'm going to accept this! The pages mentioned are
the main enterance to the site and has resulted in many
visitors mailing me asking what is going on. .

It's supposed to be closed because the Norwegian cult
lawyers claimed they violated CoS/RTC copyright. I
honestly do not know the actual claims. Earlier policy
of my ISP has been to refuse me seeing the claims made
against me. With that attitude I am without any possible
way of defending myself. I hope they are changing that
strategy.

I've been in contact with my ISP, we are working on
solving this. They seem to admit it was wrong to
close access to the files before contacting me. It is
not the first time they do this error. Now it will be
followed closely if they open the files as such an
admittion would imply... If not, what they said is
worth absolutely nothing! :(

This time they really made a mess though, what they 
closed now are pages made by Roland Rashleigh-Berry, 
Dave Touretzky and myself. If I have to sue my ISP and 
the cult lawyers in Norway, and if I have to fly Roland
and Dave over to Norway as witnesses, these pages are 
staying on Clambake!  And somebody will get very badly 
hurt in this prosess. I hope it will be the cult and 
their lawyers, and not my ISP!

PAGE 1:
This is a mirror of Dave's original page at:
   http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/OTIII/
It includes the first page of the handwritten OT III,
and IMO well within the limits of fair use. I have Dave's
approval to host this mirror.

PAGE 2:
This is authored by Roland, what CoS/RTC was thinking
when/if they claimed this violated their copyright
one can only guess. Prepare yourself Roland, maybe
you and I can picket the Oslo org? I'll make sure 
someone will pay for your flight if needed! 

PAGE 3:
This is the main page of Operation Clambake. I have
no idea how many hours I have used day and night to
make and maintain this file. But it is defenitely 
MY WORK, damn if I will allow a criminal cult take the 
honor for it!! If I ever get to know their accusations
against this page, I may have to sue them for lying.

PAGE 4:
This address shows the page called "Some Copyright 
Considerations" and is my text, made with help from
people more eloquent in English than I am. How can this 
criminal cult claim this violates their copyright? It's
beyond me!

At the moment my ISP has major problems, seems like
the whole server is down. I can therefore not check
if they have restored the read attribute on the files.
This post will be CC'ed to Morten Stensland who is the
General Manager (Direktoer) of the division at my ISP
who handle the private market. We had a long talk on 
the phone, and I have no problem with what he said. 
But I still demand that my files are restored, and I
will fight for that no matter who stands in my way.
I think my ISP and I understand eachother well, but
I still have to judge them according to how they in
practice act. It has no value that we agree, if my 
page is closed. I still think they will get their
act together, but I will not wait much longer before
I will have to react with all the legal means I
have. 

I have to make it absolutely clear though that my talks 
with my ISP today has been very positive. They are the 
biggest ISP in Norway, and of course I allow them to do 
errors too. I work with computers myself, I am 
responsible for networks and have people working for me 
that do errors, even though in a much smaller scale. I'll 
go a long way excusing them, but the limit is about to be 
crossed. That's why I mailed my ISP about this long before 
I mailed anybody else, I gave them more than a fair chance
to fix the problem. I was verbally presented to the 
content of the respons my ISP will be sending to the cult 
lawyers, and I liked what I heard. Finally I was clear 
where my ISP would position themselves in this case. 

Action counts more than words, lets all hope we finally 
will see more than just talk!

May I also remind you that my US domain is still alive,
see the sig for the address. :) Do I have plans to 
make sure Operation Clambake stays up? Yes! Any
party helping the criminal cult to shut me down will 
get very dirty themselves,
