SPEAKER DESIGN produces basic ported or closed loudspeakers that WORK.
You will be able to: choose suitable drivers, design & tune the cabinet,
produce custom crossover circuits, & even generate a panel cutting plan.
Includes database library of drivers & a comprehensive help file about
speaker building techniques. Upgraded for 1997. Extra features. 1,000
drivers in database. Runs in PC Windows 3.1 - '95.

The suite of programs include:
Speaker Parameters - calculates box response, generating box volume &
tuning with provision for 'tweaking'. Plots graphs showing relative &
eqivalent infinite baffle responses & maximum power input handling. Can
include 'rumble' filters, use to make Class I 6th order alignment
systems.

Drivers Library - 1,000 popular high quality drivers in a database
(dBASE IV). Expandable. Drivers organised by manufacturer. Includes a
provision for making neat reports and exports.

Crossovers Designer - makes crossover circuits from supplied data &
generates circuit diagrams. 1st, 2nd & 3rd order. Includes 3-way 3rd
order. Even creates those essential Zobel filter networks. Includes an
air-cored coil design option so that you can wind your own inductors to
the values you want.

Cabinet Maker - produces the most ideal panel ratios to avoid standing
waves, etc., & generates a panel cutting drawing. Dimensions can be
trimmed from one of 3 basic styles. Includes a volume offset to
compensate for installed driver units & circuitry.
