I have a Martin Backpacker guitar for sale.  This is a travel guitar
with a full scale length (the neck is the same size as that on a
full-sized guitar). Martin ads show these being played at the North
Pole,
at base camps in the Himalayas, and in space (although I may be
confusing
this last one with another travel guitar).

This is the steel-string model, and it comes with a soft-shell carrying
case.

I've seen these advertised new in Musician's friend catalog for $180
(see the link   http://www.musiciansfriend.com  ), but that's without a
gig bag.
