For de som ikke leser nyhetsgruppen alt.rave, vil jeg gjengi et
utsnitt av informasjons-filen til Future Culture, en internasjonal
mailing-liste som omhandler cyberspace med mere:

FutureCulture is on on-line mailing list set up to discuss all the relevant
aspects of "technoculture" or "new edge" or "cyberculture" or whatever else
you want to call it. These include, but are certainly not limited to:
computer underground
cyberpunk (literary and cultural movements)
cyberspace
nootropics or other drugs
raves
virtual reality
music, movies, books, magazines that fit into the mold
Discussion on the list often ranges from the mundane "gee-whiz", to deep
philosophical and scientific commentary. For example, at one time the
members of the list were simultaneously discussing Bell's Theorem and
"who we would cast in Neuromancer if it becomes a movie". Other
recent topics of conversation have included: the MindVox system,
industrial music, analysis of Ridley Scott's Bladerunner, practical
and entertaining possibilities of vr, ethical and moral aspects of
hacking (in the presently illegal sense of the word), raves, Mondo
2000 and other related magazines, cyberpunk genre literary fiction
(reader-contributed), etc.
