"The assessment of memory using event-related potentials (ERPs):
Applications to deception and amnesia"
Although the utility of using event-related brain potentials (ERPs) to
investigate memory is widely documented, the use of ERPs for the purpose
of assessing individual subjects has received considerably less attention.
This talk will describe the development and validation of an event-related
potential memory-assessment procedure that allows statistically-supported
assessments to be made for individual subjects. Applications of the
procedure will also be presented involving the assessment of deception
and amnesia.
