A IIci is a great machine to accelerate since it's got 3 >NuBus slots and doesn't require a special adaptor from DayStar to use >their accelerators. I put a 33mhz 68040 in my Mac IIci, and it doesn't seem to be making any difference! The program in which I was hoping to see improvement is Adobe Illustrator, but it's still as slow as ever. (Yes, I have Power Central turned on...) The new card does not have a math coprocessor. Could this be the problem? I hope someone can help, or I just wasted a lot of money. -- Kristin ---------------------------------------------------- kmount@miso.wwa.com Collect call from hell, will you accept the charges? ----------------------------------------------------
