compatibility between Solaris 2.0 and SunOs 4.x?

Are binaries compiled under SunOs 4.x on a Sparc executable on Sparc 10s
running Solaris 2.0? I was told Solaris 2.0 is Sys V - is that correct?

If someone can further explain which versions of SunOs, Solaris, and hardware
are binary compatible, I'd be most appreciative.

Please respond via email.
