Below is the banned prayer you've heard about. A principle read
this over the schools intercom the day the school would leave for
Thanksgiving. This prayer is from 1993 when a Rush Limbaug fan thought
this up after listening to his show.
The God haters are angry. They hate you, they hate America, and they
hate God and his people. They want a Godless, secular state where God
has been replaced by government. They want you dead and out of the way
because you're a threat to their Utopian dreams of a world united under
one government, one socialist system of communism, and one single
currency. Since the begining of radical leftwing hatred for liberty, a
Utopian world view has been their common goal. From the words of Queen:
One man one goal one mission
One heart one soal just one solution
One flash of light yeah one God one vision
One flesh one bone
One true religion
One voice one hope
One real decision
Wowowowo gimme one vision
No wrong no right
I'm gonna tell you there's no black and no white
No blood no stain
All we need is one world wide vision
One flesh one bone
One true religion
One race one hope
One real decision
Wowowowo oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah
I had a dream
When I was young
A dream of sweet illusion
A glimpse of hope and unity
And visions of one sweet union
But a cold wind blows
And a dark rain falls
And in my heart it shows
Look what they've done to my dreams
So give me your hands
Give me your hearts
I'm ready
There's only one direction
One world one nation
Yeah one vision
No hate no fight
Just excitation
All through the night
It's a celebration wowowowo yeah
One one one one...
One vision...
One flesh one bone
One true religion
One voice one hope
One real decision
Gimme one light
Gimme one hope
Just gimme
One man one man
One bar one night
One day hey hey
Just gimme gimme gimme gimme
Fried chicken
Here is a version of ``The New School Prayer,'' which was read over the
Cedar Shoals High School intercom last week by principal Tommy Craft,
who apologized Monday:
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the ``unwed daddy,'' our Senior King.
It's ``inappropriate'' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such ``judgments'' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot, my soul please take!
