Latest news out of Washington, is that W.J.Billy Tauzin, Chairman of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce, the group investigating the frauds of Worldcom and Global Crossing, now has his sights sets on EARTHLINK. With FBI and RICO, plus SEC, and then NASDAQ, DJ, how much longer before total oblivion? Are Earthlink busy shredding incriminating documents in their office in Atlanta, and the west coast, before Department of Justice raids? >Just because Earthlink and Mindspring merged a couple of years ago, >does not mean they are solvent, any more than Worldcom and Global >Crossing were. >Now that that the U.S.Government is getting criminal indictments >against the principals of Worldcom and Global Crossing, who's next? >Rumors in New York and Washington say EARTHLINK/MINDSPRING >is next for raids by the Government. >Unanswered questions include: >Was Earthlink?Mindspring actively involved, with management >permission, in assisting international terrorists, both in the >transmission of data, and also funds transfers? >Is Earthlink/Mindspring used by international organized crime, >against the interests of the USA? >Did management of EARTHLINK/MINDSPRING 'doctor' their financial >statements for the past few years, in order to keep the investors >from complaining? Which beancounters were their so-called auditors? >How soon will the investigative reporters of the Wall Street Journal, >and the Washington Post headline the results of their investigations? >In other words, if you have an investment in Earthlink/Mindspring, > if possible, cut your losses, while you still can, and liquidate. >How many BILLIONS will disappear with this meltdown? >Is it true, that like with Worldcom, someone inside EARTHLINK >will testify for the Government, in exchange for immunity from >prosecution?
