One way is to take the Southern State to the Belt Parkway to the BQE to the Brooklyn, Manhattan or Williamsburg Bridge. Any of them would get you to Manhattan for free. You can also get to Manhattan via the Queensborough Bridge for free but I forget the specific instructions to get there from Long Island. Once you are in Manhattan both tunnels and the bridge are free to New Jersey. Really, who would pay to go to New Jersey anyway :). In the other direction the tunnels and bridge from New Jersey will cost $4. The bridges to Brooklyn and Queens are free in both directions. ------------- Alex Rodriguez Columbia University New York City
