A war on terrorism is like the "drug war", not a normal war. OK, if we shove 
an old 747 turned cruise missile up bin Laden's arse and blow a Tim McVeigh 
bomb in that flying truck bomb, we may get rid of him. But it's nearly certain 
another bin Laden style idiot will emerge. Worse, we have our own homebrew 
terrorists, who normally operate alone or with one friend. The American type 
terrorist is much more dangerous than the Islamic type becuse they are so 
stealthy. 

Our own terrorists operate alone becuse of the existing police state. The 
police state is from the drug war. This causes idiots to not attempt to 
organise as that could foil strikes. Thus, the Yank terrorist will remain a 
loner in most cases as he does a deed.
