LOL > The aid was there and offered but the State still retains control of the show unless it speciffically cedes the efforts to FEMA. That is what has been done in years past. That is why it has worked in the past. Remember that FEMA's role is after the disaster not usually before or during. With a disater of such scale it takes time for FEMA to step in and help but the Govenor chose to not work with FEMA and instead hires her own relief director to do things. That is just a small fraction of what went wrong. IT was not our Federal Government but the State and Local officials who screwed up. MRC P.S. Top posting is considered by manners by many in this new group. Just thought I would pass that on to you. > > > "Ducks-R-US" <bad@moon.rising> wrote in message > news:lDTSe.6743$L86.2028@bignews6.bellsouth.net... > >>"Tim Campbell" <timcall@sbcglobal.net> wrote in message >>news:1125894045.886073.267790@g43g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... >> >>>Bush Declares Evacuation Victory -- Cindy Sheehan has left Crawford >>> >>> >>>George W.
