As a Manhattan resident, I have always said this, which leads me to my
next question: THEN WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DAMNED CARS HERE???

I'm not being a smart alec.  Out of the 100 or so people who work in my
office, I don't think a single one drives to work.  Where are all those
cars going?  I'll probably never know.
