According to the people at the Transit Museum, they have a total of 19
historic old buses in running shape.  They are distributed throughout the
system at various depots with no depot holding more than 2.  I think that
they are going to be displayed either this month or next at an event in
New York City along with restored buses from some other systems in the
surrounding states.

Check with the Museum for more details; this was just from a word dropped
in passing by the Curator of the Museum at an event the other night.  I
did not pay much attention as my jaundiced view of buses is that they are
smelly beasts.  Others' view may very well be different.
