I am not lumping them together as you say, I have used assorted Amigas, and I
do have some knowledge of what is out there for them, I looked seriously at
equipping my busines with them. They just don *NOT* have high quality software
available for 3D animation at a sensible speed.

Considering your lack of knowledge of animation, I suggest that you actaully
listen to someone from one of NZs top animation companies - Animation Research
Limited.
