Trash Can.

I have a small problem with my macintosh... (I never have ANY problems
with my PC. as you can tell I'm ***PISSED*** with this sodding
machine) I'm running system 7.0 with tune-up 1.0. What the problem is,
I can't delete anything off the system disk. I can however delete files
off the other HD. This is only a system 7.0 problem as I can delete
files under system 6.0.7 (with one exception) . The error message I was
getting was "Trash is empty" (bullshit) Trash can is 'fat' etc etc

So I went to System 6 with res-edit, turned the invisible files visible

Now, I tried to delete this folder on the desktop and it would not let
me, saying that it was not empty. Not so, according to Res-edit it *IS*
empty. I scaned the HD's for virus's (not likely but a long-shot) I
re-built the desktop, I booted without inits/cdevs etc etc, still no go.

What gives and how do I save this machine from getting 'abused' :-)

Cheers, Paul
....Wishing he'd *NEVER* heard of apple....
