Could someone please mail to me details regarding proposals by Massey 
University's Extramural Studies Centre to establish email and 
conferencing facilities for use by off-campus students?

I recall that late last year advertisements were placed for a suitably 
skilled person to establish and maintain a telecommunications facility 
for extramural students. A visually impaired friend and colleague of mine 
may well benefit from having such a service - (I know I would) as it 
would definitely enable improved access to teaching staff, library and 
other suport services.

Please could details be included in the reply regarding its format(s) - 
e.g. usenet, fidonet or whatever, and of course, how one accesses the 
service if indeed the project is up and running.
