ET6000 - OS/2 DRIVERS?

I have found to my cost that although the box and the documentation
that comes with the new Tseng ET6000 video chipset promises that driver
support for OS/2 is included in the package, the promise is hollow.
The CD contains a whole bunch of stuff for a number of environments
including DOS/Windows/Win95 with the ET6000, and including S3 variants
for OS/2 and NT, but nothing for the ET6000 itself and OS/2 (or NT).

The README on the CD has a tail-end "additional release note"
saying, for the ET6000, that drivers for OS/2 and Windows NT were not
available in time for this release. Seems a bit late to find
that out after having bought the thing and entrusting to the blurb on
the box which says, plain as day, drivers support for IBM OS/2 Warp!

The card works fine in the Windows environment with the drivers
provided. From experience, however, having had to recover the system
from tape, I can guarantee that it is _not_ backward compatible with
the W32p drivers.

I've hunted up and down the repositories, and Tseng itself, but to no
avail. Does anybody know if, and if so when, and if when where, we're
likely to see OS/2 drivers? Or even if there's a beta out there
somewhere?
