Now we know why George Bush ordered the invasion of Iraq.....to bring liberty, justice and respect for human rights to that country. Mind you, he was reluctant to admit to such lofty ideals in the first place as his reasons in 2003 were (a) Iraq's hoarding of WMD (b) Iraqis being responsible for 9/11 and (c) links between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. As none of these proved to be true he has had to fall back on "the bringing of democracy" to Iraq at no matter what cost. So far it's been 100,000 civilian lives and cities reduced to rubble but that's small change when "liberty, freedom and respect for human rights" is the goal. Bill E....
