PRINTMAIL
*********
Following my article in alt.internet.services a couple of weeks ago,
I've decided to offer a paper mail gateway here in England and to hold
on a decision for a fax gateway for the moment. I may be persuaded to
start the fax service if enough people ask - it's up to you.
The Service On Offer
====================
Every morning at 0715 (UK time) I'll print your mail, put it into a
windowed envelope, attach a First-Class stamp, and run not walk to the
nice red pillar-box of the most excellent Royal Mail to easily catch
the first collection of the day. This should ensure that your letter
reaches a UK addressee the following day, and an EEC addressee within
a couple of days or so. I will also send an ack to your email address
stating the date/time of the collection, credits used, and your
remaining credits.
The Cost
========
One pound for a letter of maximum two A4 pages, plus 50p for each page
over two.
How
===
To register for this service, send me an International Money Order for
Ten Pounds minimum (for ten credits) with your name, address and email
address. You can cancel registration at any time and receive a refund
of unused credits. When I receive your money, I'll email your starting
statement and you can begin using the service.
I'll handle only plain email text at the moment, nothing fancy like
postscript or graphics uuencoded etc. but I'll consider it for the
future. You'll use the usual letter format in the body of your email
with the addressee on the left, so it'll show in a windowed envelope
when printed.

(To start with, this is a one-way service exiting to the Royal Mail,

Thanks,
Alan G. Osborne
