Dear All,

Typically a bit late, the Massey Uni Alpine Club is holding a Reunion
for all ex-members.  It's to celebrate the Clubs 71st anniversary next
year, and a great way to start the new millenium for the Club.

When?    June 16-18, 2000
Where?    Palmerston North
What?
Fri night - get together at a fine establishment to mix and mingle

Sat/Sun - day walks, Gorge kayak, Mountain bike ride, Campus tour,
Trip to Ohakune and the MUAC lodge (the Hut!! - rebranding strikes
again)

Sat Night - Reunion Dinner in PNth - guest speaker yet to be
'volunteered'

This is a great chance to catch up with your old Varsity mates, have a
stomp around your old stomping grounds, get out into the hills, and
see what has changed in the Club, the Town, and on the mountain.

The last reunion was in 1989, and 70 people attended.  NEXT YEAR WILL
BE HUGE.  1989 was organised in 1 month or so.  You now have 9 months
to plan ahead, dust off and clean up all your old gear, and return to
your youth for a weekend.

Register your interest now, and more info will be sent a little closer
to the date.  Accomodation, meals, activities will be detailed,
especially with respect to cost and availability.

This promises to be the biggest reunion weekend in the Club's 71 year
history.  Help remind everyone that we are the oldest Club at Massey
Univerisity, and make your mark in the next n years of Club history.

As it's a really fun task trying to track you all down, please use
your own network(s) to spread the word to all your peers.  We've
already had replies from members from 1960 (Dave Grant), the 70's
(Dick Hubbard), the mid 80's (Clive Jones, Gavin Redpath, Russell
Lake) and a host from the 90's (this is where I fit in - 1990 was a
bloody good year!).

So, please, add your name to the list, track down your Alpine Club
mates, and make this reunion the one to remember!
