The festival has several free (optional donation) plays that are parodies of some of the old plays such as Beowolf, Hamlet, Dantes' inferno... The food choices are limited and have liberal salt and sugar applied. The crafts are wonderful and there are several rides for children as well as games (one ex: instead of bowling over pins to win a prize(?) children knock over a cabbage patch monk w/ heart underwear no less ;) ) There is a duo who will braid women or mens hair. That can run from $8-$20 There are many people in costume and they are quite engaging. One Lord walks around professing his love for any maiden that happens to be nearby.... :) Hope that is enough info.... There was a huge ad in the Columbus Weekender that is given out on Thursdays with the paper.
