Congratulations on your good luck in having avoided all those traps, and on the skills, energy, and determination you applied to fully exploiting your good fortune. But I know some folk who have worked as hard as you have just to keep their heads above water. Be thankful. Two of the most perniciously pathological beliefs are mirror images of one another: that we have no control over our lives, and that anything good that happens to us is entirely due to our personal merit. =margaret
