You have brought the conversation back to the orriginal subject.

1.  How would you run a double blind study on the theraputic effect of smoking 
marijauna?  What would be the control?

2.  I take it that you do not believe that marijuana should be suggested 
by physician when confronted with a cancer patient who has not responded to 
other remedies for nausea and lack of appetite?  And that anecdotal evidence 
is not sufficient in such a case?  Would it make a difference to you if the 
patient were terminal?
