Lots of people seem to care. Kerry admits to being a war criminal, Bush's record shows he was a slacker. Bush's current record shows that he's shown up for work every day while campaigning. Kerry's record shows that, while campaigning, he's hardly shown up for work. Which may be a good thing. Bush's plan for Iraq- the one that is currently in operation- is to have allies share the burden and to work under a UN mandate. Kerry's plan for Iraq is to have allies share the burden and to work under a UN mandate. Not even 20 years ago, it was "did you ever even touch marijuana when you were in college 20+ years ago?" Now, nobody cares. Military service wasn't much of an issue when Clinton was elected. It probably won't be important next time. Now, it's stem cell research. Bush's budget spends tens of millions of dollars and more on stem cell research, which no other president has ever done. Kerry talks about an imaginary ban, instead of showing what he did in the Senate to promote such research. Next time, it will be some other disease of the moment.
