	How new is this news group?Are there any parents here that 
 would like to organize and design a new social stucture that would 
 focus on how a parents role in the education process can be changed
 to be more affective in the support of the student but also affect
 the tranning of teachers to bring about productive partnerships in
 learning.PTA's and community councils it seems are more political
 and financial and do little to address the learning relationships 
 between the student/teacher and the parent.With the advent of a 
 growing electronic net bridging the gap between k-12 edu and the 
 community and more reasonable pricing of computer commuications tech
 that addressing this problem is more probable now.Little can be
 changed without a free flow of continous communication and access
 to pertinate and timely information which this media can provide.Creating
 links between teacher education,schools,parents and the community at large
 that can provide resources and the support to make changes that will enrich 
 the learning environment for our children and future leaders.The tools
 are here now the question is do we take this inhand or leave it for the 
 state or federal government to decide for us !
