For those not already aware, news.ysu.edu's old machine, a NCR Tower, finally
died (HD failure, but there were other problems too) on Tuesday 1/19/93.

The new machine, a Sun IPC, arrived the same day, but without the external
1.3gb disk drive. That's arriving today (Thursday).

As soon as the disk drive is here, I'll be setting up C-News, NNTP, IDA
sendmail, etc. and getting us going again. Any backlogs from our news-
feeds are just fine, it'll be good test data (-:

With fingers crossed, we'll be back in full operation well before 5pm
tomorrow.
