News.ysu.edu is now a rather happy Sun IPC, chugging away at 2.25 days of backlogged news. Traffic is moving slow (given that we're on a 56kb link), but we've cleared 4202 accepted articles (in the history file) of 4929 articles that nntpd accepted, we're keeping up with the volume. That alone is something the NCR couldn't do with pushy newsfeeds and big backlogs in the past. -- Doug Sewell, Tech Support, Computer Center, Youngstown State University doug@cc.ysu.edu doug@ysub.bitnet <internet>!cc.ysu.edu!doug cat core | uuencode bunny.dropping | mail jp@tygra.michigan.com
