I am hoping on flying down to the south Pacific next year to do some
touring. I am interested in any information anyone can give me on good
routes or good books talking about cycle touring in New Zealand and/or
Australia. I have been touring for a couple of years now, and would
think of days of 100km on average would be good, with a mixture of
camping and other accommodations on an availability basis. I am hoping
to join up with a week long tour in Australia, written up in 'Bicycling
Nov/Dec 1997' from April 25 to May 3 1998, but would probably have three
months to cycle
around in the south in total. At the moment I will be going alone, if
any one is interested in cycling Down-Under with me I would be glad to
hear from you.

My reason for posting is I am hoping that someone will know of a good
resource about cycling in New Zealand/Australia, a web-page, a book, any
thing

Thanks.
