Seen in "Parts Galore", a small electronics store on College Street just
west of Spadina: a $250 212A+300 autodialing modem. From the manual,
it's reasonable. The autodialing is Racal-Vadic compatible. No surprise,
because when you look at the big sticker on the bottom, R-V is listed as
co-producer of it. (The other company, whose name is on the front, is
nobody I'd ever heard of.)
I have not actually tried one, because I have a 1200-baud modem and am not
in the market for anything less than 2400 now.
