I will note that a foetus before about 22 weeks or so cannot even breathe on
its own (the lungs having no alveoli (how *does* one spell that?) in order to
exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide with the air).  Therefore, a foetus is *not*
complete, at least not before the point of viability.

And of course a foetus is not a complete human being anyway, since it is still
taking nutrients from the woman's body until birth.  (To be fair, a newborn,
toddler, child, or even pubescent teenager isn't quite complete either,
since they are still growing; one could also make a case that no one is really
ever complete until death.  Or, if you like, one is not complete until one is
capable of reproduction.)
