As a non-Christian (who is religious, just not Christian), I find this
to be a load of shit.

I don't want a Christian nation. My wife doesn't either and I really
doubt if my unborn daughter (six weeks to go) will want it. I prefer a
country where Christians are no more special or empowered that Muslims,
Jews, Ba'hai (sp?), Buddhists, Hindues, Neo-Pagans, or anyone else. That
is what the original person was complaining about. Your Christian values
are not MY values and I don't want YOUR values shoved down my throat
through the force of law. Legislating morality is not a solution. Behave
yourself and convince others (such as your family to do so) and I will
endeavor to do the same.
